Postdoctoral Scholars

We are always interested in hearing from intelligent, motivated individuals. Areas of interest include stochastic gene expression, biological feedback control, time-lapse microscopy, single-cell analysis methods, microfluidics, optogenetics, computational modeling, and dynamical systems. Email Dr. Dunlop for more information.

Graduate Students

Please email Dr. Dunlop with information about your background and why you are interested in working in the group. Ph.D. students typically spend their first year doing rotation projects before picking a lab to join. Examples of projects areas of interest include:

  • Design of feedback control systems for synthetic biology
  • Antibiotic resistance at the single-cell level
  • Natural and synthetic gene circuits that use feedback to regulate gene expression

Undergraduate Students

Ambitious, motivated undergraduates who would like to gain lab experience should email Dr. Dunlop for more information.
