Please email Dr. Dunlop with information about your background and why you are interested in working in the group. Prospective students should have a strong background in either engineering or biology, and a desire to learn the other field. Projects areas of interest include:
- Design of feedback control systems for synthetic biology
- Antibiotic resistance at the single-cell level
- Natural and synthetic gene circuits that use feedback to regulate gene expression
